Step 2/8 – Enter your address details.

Step 3/8 – Enter your business details.

Step 4/8 – Enter your business address.

Step 5/8 – Enter the mailing address (if different from the business address).

Step 6/8 – Enter bank information for your Operating Account. This will be your default operating account, where all processing fees will be pulled.

Step 7/8 – Enter Trust account details (optional). Users can opt to ‘Skip Step‘ at the bottom. If the user decides to set up a Trust account later, it can be achieved within the TimeSolv app.

Step 8/8 – Verify the displayed information. Complete the security validation and agree to the terms.

Accounts are not useable until the status turns to ‘Approved.’

Accounts are automatically linked to the TimeSolv payment profiles if you have just one Operating account. You can unlink anytime from under the Account>Integrations>LexCharge screen and pick another if needed.

There is a button at the top of the screen, ‘New Merchant Account,‘ to add a new Operating/Merchant account.

Note: If you have a Trust and Operating account already set up in TimeSolv and go through the Lexcharge setup wizard, you will create a LexCharge account. The Operating and Trust Merchant accounts are automatically linked to the present TimeSolv payment accounts. If you have multiple Operating accounts, you will specify which account to link with it under Account>Integrations>LexCharge tab. Multiple bank accounts under Payment>Settings means you get the ‘Link‘ option.

LexCharge Portal – Opens the LexCharge login screen and is where you can manage your LexCharge account.

Receive LexCharge Payments in Client Portal

With the Client Portal, clients can independently view invoices, payment histories, trust balances, and details of work in progress, allowing you to focus on other areas of your business.

To receive online payments from your customers via LexCharge, you need to set up one or more “Payment Profiles” in TimeSolv (Payments>Settings>Bank Accounts.) These payment profiles allow you to connect to LexCharge and specify to which bank accounts the payments will be deposited.

Firm-wide Setting:

Click on  Clients>Settings>General tab.

Ensure that the Enable Portal? checkbox is enabled.

To learn more, click here on Grant Access to Client Portal.

At the bottom of the ‘General‘ tab, under the ‘Client Portal‘ section, specify what bank account to receive portal payments in.

You can also access the Client Portal from the Invoices sent to you if you have enabled the Client Portal link and QR Code to appear on the Invoices.

To learn how to set up the Flexible Template to show the link, see the Main Page options on the Flexible Billing Template.

Client-Level Settings

Store and Use Client-Matter Credit Card/ACH on File

If you have an agreement with your customers to store their credit card/bank account information on file and charge them whenever an Invoice is due or replenishment to a Trust account is required, follow the steps below:

Go to  Clients>Clients & Matters>[Client/Matter]>Payment Settings. Click to enter a Credit Card or ACH. You can only store one of these, i.e., just one payment method for the Client.

The card information should pre-populate from the Contact stored under the Matter.

Matters will automatically inherit the Client-level payment settings, but you can have additional/different credit card/bank account details stored under individual Matters.
