TimeSolv Version 20260821 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

Release Date: August 21, 2026

  1. Enhancement – Void and Refund Options Added for Stripe Payments
Firm administrators can now void unsettled or refund settled TimeSolvPay transactions processed through Stripe from the Refunds, Trust, and Transactions screens. Full and partial reversals are supported for eligible operating payments and trust deposits, with safeguards preventing refunds that exceed the original payment or available trust balance.
  2. Enhancement – Expense Auto-Assignment Added to QuickBooks Desktop Sync
We added an Auto-assign Expense to sync user if Employee is blank option to the QuickBooks Desktop Sync application. Firms can enable this setting to assign imported Bills and Checks to the user performing the synchronization when the source expense does not identify an employee.
  3. Enhancement – Single Sign-On Added for the Stripe TimeSolvPay Portal
Users with an active Stripe payment profile can now open the TimeSolvPay Portal directly from TimeSolv without entering separate portal credentials. TimeSolv securely authenticates the user and redirects them into the appropriate merchant portal.
  4. Enhancement – 3D Secure Authentication Added for Stripe Card Payments
TimeSolvPay now supports 3D Secure authentication for eligible Stripe card payments. When additional cardholder authentication is required, the user is directed through the secure verification process and returned to TimeSolv with the payment result, while payments not requiring authentication continue through the existing flow.
  5. Enhancement – Time Entry API Business-Rule Validation Expanded
We expanded REST API validation for time-entry creation to enforce applicable TimeSolv permissions and business rules. API submissions now validate client and matter status, task-code access, time-entry permissions, configured lockouts, user status, and support-user mapping before creating an entry.
  6. Enhancement – Contact Support Chat Updated with Signed-In User Information
The Contact Support chat now uses the signed-in user’s name and email address, reducing the need to re-enter contact information and helping associate support conversations with the correct customer. The chat widget is now limited to authenticated TimeSolv pages and is removed when the user logs out.
  7. Bug – Pre-Authorized Debit Payment Method Processing Corrected
We resolved an issue where saving or processing a Pre-Authorized Debit (PAD) payment method at the Client or Matter level could fail because the redirect process expected credit-card-specific information. PAD transactions now use the appropriate payment details and complete without requiring card-specific values.
  8. Bug – Payment Amount Validation Improved for Stripe Transactions
We resolved an issue where entering a Stripe payment below the processor-supported minimum could return a generic 400 Bad Request error. TimeSolv now displays a clear validation message when the entered payment amount is not accepted.
  9. Bug – Invoice PDF Payment Links Open the Correct Client Portal Page
We resolved an issue affecting multiple firms where selecting Pay by clicking here from an invoice PDF could redirect the user to an internal error page. Invoice payment links now open the appropriate Client Portal payment page so customers can proceed with paying the outstanding balance.
  10. Bug – Duplicate Stripe Payments Prevented After Page Refresh
We resolved an issue where refreshing the redirected page after a successful Stripe payment could process the transaction again. Completed payments are now handled safely during page refreshes, and transaction-related parameters are removed from the returned browser URL.
  11. Bug – Trust Transaction API Date Sorting and Filtering Corrected
We resolved an issue where using Date to sort or filter results from the /trustTransactionSearch REST API endpoint returned an internal server error. API consumers can now sort trust transactions by date and retrieve transactions using valid date criteria.
