TimeSolv Version 20250322 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

Release Date: March 22, 2025

  1. Bug – Fixed: Retainer Invoice No Longer Grants Unintended Client Portal Access
An issue where users could gain automatic client portal access simply by creating a retainer invoice, either through the system or API, has been resolved. Previously, if the “Has Portal Access” checkbox was enabled for a contact, generating a retainer invoice would incorrectly grant portal access without proper authorization.
    With this fix:

    • Portal access is only granted if Enable Portal is explicitly set to true.
    • The system verifies whether the client contact has valid login access before appending the portal URL.
    • Unintended automatic access is prevented when generating a retainer invoice, ensuring secure client portal access management.
  2. Bug – Fixed: Project Update API No Longer Requires Unnecessary Fields
Resolved an issue where the Project Update (PUT) API required Global Rate and Responsible Timekeeper fields, causing update failures. The API now accepts updates with minimal required fields, handles Global Rate names correctly, and preserves existing Billing Codes if not explicitly provided.
  3. Bug – Fixed: Internal Error When Connecting TS to Dropbox
An issue causing an internal error when connecting TS to Dropbox has been resolved. Previously, users experienced an error when attempting to link Dropbox, followed by an incorrect redirection. This issue was reproducible on both Mac and Windows. With this fix, users can now successfully connect TS to Dropbox without encountering errors.
