TimeSolv Version 20250111 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

Release Date: January 11, 2025

  1. Enhancement – Stored Payment Methods for LawPay
The Client Portal now supports saving, updating, and deleting stored payment methods for LawPay on both invoice and trust deposit screens. Payment details sync with LawPay within 2–4 minutes, and bank details are validated.
  2. Retainer Invoice and Payment for Prospects
Prospect clients can now seamlessly manage retainer payments in the Client Portal. This enhancement allows prospects to generate retainer invoices, make trust deposit payments, and save payment methods for future use. This functionality ensures smooth payment workflows and storage capabilities, improving client engagement from the initial stages.
  3. Client Payment Method API
A new PaymentMethod API endpoint has been introduced to retrieve masked payment details for clients using their ClientId. The API ensures secure access to card or bank account information and returns all relevant fields for better integration and client management workflows.
  4. Bug – Issue Resolved: Invoices and WIP Aging report Errors on Large Firm Data
An issue, reported internally by QA team, causing errors when generating the Invoices and WIP Aging reports for firms with large datasets has been resolved. The problem involved slow query performance and intermittent errors during report generation, particularly when navigating between pages. Optimizations were implemented to improve query efficiency and ensure stable report generation.
  5. Bug – Issue Resolved: ExpenseCardSearch API Returning No Results
The ExpenseCardSearch API was failing to return results due to an unhandled case in its logic, specifically related to permission settings for users with the “Support” role. This issue has been resolved by aligning the conditions in the ExpenseCardSearch API with those in the TimeCardSearch API, ensuring that “Support” users can access expense cards when their permissions are set to “All Timekeepers”.
  6. Bug – Fix for QBO Sync Issue – Quantity and Rate Fields Not Imported
An issue was identified in the QuickBooks Online (QBO) integration with TimeSolv where the Quantity and Rate fields from QBO expenses were not syncing into TimeSolv. This issue has been resolved, ensuring these fields are now correctly imported into TimeSolv during the sync process.
