TimeSolv Version 20240922 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes
Release Date: September 22, 2024
- Enhancement – Updated Non-Admin User Permissions in TimeSolvPay
The current design allowed non-admin users with ‘View Only’ access to create, edit, and delete recurring payments under the TimeSolvPay tab. This behaviour has been updated, ensuring that users with ‘View Only’ permissions can now only view recurring payments without the ability to modify them.
- Bug – Fix for TimeSolv Outlook Add-in Spinning Issue
The TimeSolv Outlook Add-in has been updated to resolve an issue where the icon would continuously spin when users attempted to load the Add-in and tried logging in. This problem, which affected both Outlook Desktop and Web versions, has been fixed, allowing users to access the Add-in and create time entries without experiencing loading issues.
- Bug – Fix for ‘Receipts’ Section on Financial Dashboard
An issue in the Financial Dashboard’s ‘Receipts’ section has been resolved, where the data was not updating according to the selected Responsible Timekeepers (RTKs). Previously, regardless of whether one, multiple, or all RTKs were selected, the ‘Receipts’ metric remained unchanged. The updated logic ensures that the receipts displayed reflect only those associated with the selected RTKs.
- Bug – Invoice Count Correction in Financial Dashboard Billing Section
The Financial Dashboard’s ‘Billing’ section now accurately displays the number of invoices created in a specific month. Previously, there was a discrepancy in the invoice count shown, which did not match the actual figures. The system has been updated to ensure that the dashboard reflects the correct number of invoices, providing users with accurate billing information.
- Bug – Resolution of Rate Update Error under Global Rate for a single client
The issue that prevented a user from updating the value for a specific Global Rate has been resolved. Reported by a single customer, the error message stating, “Please enter a valid numeric value for rate,” appeared due to the inclusion of a comma as a separator in the rate values. This has been corrected, and user can now successfully update rates without encountering errors.
- Bug – New Reports – Firm Time Zone Date Display Fix
An issue where new reports displayed incorrect dates in the Date Range field and footer for firms set to specific time zones has been resolved. The fix ensures that dates now reflect the correct firm time zone in report previews and PDF exports across various reports, including Cash Receipts and Time Entries. Time zones are now properly parsed using the Etc/GMT format to avoid future discrepancies.
- Bug – Fixes for Sorting Issues in New Reports
- Clients and Matters Report: Sorting on the “Bill/Invoice Name” column is now functioning correctly when generating reports with the “Client Simple” report type.
- Expense Codes Report: The sorting on the “Active” column has been fixed to ensure that inactive records are displayed first when the sorting is applied.
- Fees Budget Report: Accurate sorting on the “Month” column is now enabled when grouped by either “Client” or “Responsible Timekeeper & Client.
These enhancements ensure that users can navigate reports with greater efficiency and accuracy.
