Release Date: August 11, 2024

  1. Enhancement – LawRuler CRM Enhancements: Improved Onboarding and Trial Account Access
The LawRuler CRM has been enhanced to offer a better experience for trial accounts and new users. Trial accounts can now access the previously hidden CRM marketing and pricing screens, allowing users to view the CRM menu, access the landing page, and see updated pricing details, including service fees and billing terms. The “Get in Touch” button is available in both the CRM Core and CRM Plus sections, ensuring full visibility of CRM features and options. Additionally, the CRM onboarding process has been streamlined to simplify the selection and setup of CRM plans. TimeSolv trial firms now see a “Get in Touch” option, while paying firms can choose the “Get Started for Free” option for the CRM Core tier. Cosmetic updates include a new toggle switch that allows users to easily switch between monthly and annual pricing plans, with annual selected by default.
  2. Enhancement – Improvements made to the new version of following Reports.
    • Task Codes Report:
Permissions-related issues have been resolved. An “Inactive” checkbox has been added to applicable dropdowns, sorting is enabled, and headers in Excel exports are in uppercase. Display issues in previews and PDFs have been fixed, and duplicate task codes in Excel have been removed. Users can now download reports seamlessly.
    • Realization per Timekeeper Report:
The Realization per Timekeeper Report has been improved with fixed permissions, added filters, and sorting. Issues with layout, category labels, and empty reports have been resolved, ensuring a more accurate and user-friendly report.
    • Realization Per Client Report:
Fixed permission related issues, and enhanced functionality. New features include the Inactive checkbox, additional filters for Client Categories and Billing Category, and sorting options. The reports now include Sub Category and Billing Category filters, default settings, and complete column export in Excel.
    • Missing Time Report:
The Missing Time Report has been enhanced with key updates including fixed permissions and adherence to guidelines. An “Inactive” checkbox has been added to relevant dropdowns, and sorting has been enabled on all columns to improve usability.
    • Expense Codes Report:
The Expense Codes Report is now improved with fixes for permissions issues and compliance with the guidelines. Sorting is enabled for all columns, and a % sign has been added to the Markup Column. The report will be visible regardless of permissions.
  3. Enhancement – Grouping Option for the New Realization Per Client Report
The new version of Realization Per Client report now offers a ‘None’ option in the Group By drop-down. Selecting ‘None’ removes all groupings, displaying ungrouped data with an additional Client column for improved clarity.
  4. Bug – Fixed Email Delivery Issues for Scheduled Trust Banking Report
A firm experienced an issue where scheduled emails for the Trust Banking Report were not being delivered to their inbox. This has been identified and resolved.
Users are advised to check that their email attachments do not exceed 15MB, as larger files are not supported by the email service. If emails are still not received, try reconfiguring the schedule or contact support for further assistance.
  5. Bug – Checkbox Functionality Rectified in New Reports
A problem was identified by the QA team where checkboxes, like “Include Inactive,” would grey out when selected, affecting all reports in the system. This issue prevented further interaction with the checkboxes until the “Generate Report” button was clicked. After internal review and updates, the issue has been resolved, and checkboxes now function as expected during report generation.
  6. Bug – System Time Discrepancy Resolved Between New Report Preview and PDF Download
A discrepancy was identified and reported internally by the QA team, where the system time shown at the footer of the New reports preview did not match the time in the downloaded PDF. The problem has been resolved, ensuring that the time displayed in both the preview and the PDF is now consistent. Users should not encounter this issue anymore.
  7. Bug – Expense – Slowness Issue while attempting to enter expense.
We have addressed a performance issue on the expense entry screen that was impacting a single customer. The issue led to delays and loading problems. We have made performance improvements that resolves the delay issue for the affected customer.
