- Enhancement – On The Time Entry Search & Expense Entry Search, Include Inactive Checkboxes Shown As Unchecked By Default
The “Include Inactive” checkboxes for Timekeeper and Client/Matter parameters on the Time Entry and Expense Entry Search are now shown as unchecked by default, allowing search results to be displayed without restricting the date range. To include the inactive values, select the checkboxes on the respective parameter, but in this case, the date range will be restricted.
- Enhancement – Drill-down Feature Added To The Financial Dashboard’s Aged Invoices Chart
A drill-down feature has been added to the Financial Dashboard’s Aged Invoices chart to show columns for Invoice number, Client-Matter, Due Date, Age, Amount, and Outstanding Balance. Clicking on the Invoice number opens the Invoice in a new tab.
- Enhancement – New Reports Have Been Optimized For Improved Performance And Permissions
The Time & Expense Entry Report, Task Summary, and Timekeeper Profitability Reports have been optimized for improved performance. The data is now displayed according to the different permissions assigned to the Timekeeper in combination with Matter visibility and Rate Override option.
- Enhancement – Various Enhancements On The Target vs. Actual Chart For Staff, Hours, And The Analytics Dashboards
- Data on the Actual and Billable hour bars improved to display correct hours when Target Hours are set to zero, ensuring that the same behavior is reflected on the Target Billable, Actual Total, and Actual Billable modes.
- Data on the Actual and Collected amount bars improved to display correct hours when Target Billing is set to zero, ensuring that the same behavior is reflected on the Target Billable, Actual Total, and Actual Billable modes.
- Data on the Worked and Billed rate bars improved to display correct hours when Target Billing is set to zero, ensuring that the same behavior is reflected on the Target Billable, Actual Total, and Actual Billable modes.
- In the case of undefined targets against Timekeepers on the Target vs. Actual chart, the “Targets Unspecified for x Timekeepers” message has been improved to show up under proper conditions.
- On the Staff Dashboard, the Target vs. Actual chart’s Collected bar has been improved to display the allocated amount for individual Timekeepers as well as the sum of allocated amounts if more than one Timekeeper is selected.
- The Rate calculation on the Worked bar has been improved to use the “Total Amount / Total Hours” formula.
- The Billed bar has been enhanced to display the rate of Time Entries on the basis of the Billed Amount and also to show the entries that have been billed.
- On the charts, hours have been rounded to 1 decimal while amounts to 2 decimal places.
- Bug – When Using The New Invoice Calculation Logic, Payment Showing Up As Previous Balance
One of the customers reported that when using the new invoice calculation logic, a Payment was showing up as a Previous Balance on the Invoice PDF. This has been fixed so that if the Invoice includes Payments even before the first invoice, they are shown normally instead of as a Previous Balance.
- Bug – Unable To Delete Credit Card Payment Method Saved In TimeSolv
A customer reported that they were unable to delete their Credit Card payment method saved in TimeSolv. This has been fixed. Also, if a payment method is deleted from Stax or TimeSolvPay portal, TimeSolv will delete it automatically.
- Bug – Staff Dashboard Metrics Giving Timeout Error For Firms With Large Volumes Of Data
One of the customers reported that they were getting the Timeout error on the Staff Dashboard’s Metrics. This has been fixed, and the dashboard load process has been optimized for firms with large volumes of data.
- Bug – The Financial Dashboard Showing Incorrect Values For Some Filters
A customer reported that for the quarterly period, the Financial Dashboard was displaying expenses far greater than their yearly total. This has been fixed, and correct values are displayed against the selected date range.
- Bug – Payments From The Client Portal Showing Incorrect Payment Method On TimeSolv’s Payments & Credits Screen
It was internally reported that when making payments from the Client Portal as “Credit Card – Manual Entry”, the payment method on TimeSolv’s Payments & Credits screen was showing up as “Credit Card – External.” This has been fixed, and the correct payment method is displayed for both Credit Card and ACH payments.
- Bug – Task Code Details Are Not Shown On The Excel Version Of The New Time Entry Reports
It was internally reported that the Excel version of the New Time Entry report only displayed the Task Codes and not the Task Code Description as shown in the Standard Report. This has been fixed.
- Bug – Client Emails Not Received From Stax And TimeSolv For ACH-On File Payments Made From The Client Portal Or Website
It was internally reported that when a payment is made from the Client Portal or the Client Website using the ACH-On File method, no email is received from Stax or TimeSolv Admin. This has been fixed for both Credit Card as well as ACH payments.
- Bug – On The TimeSolv’s Refund Screen, Refunds Made From TimeSolvPay Portal Do Not Reflect The Payment Method Used
It was internally reported that the Payment Method for the refunds made from the TimeSolvPay Portal is not reflected on the TimeSolv’s Refunds screen. This has been fixed.
- Bug – Date Field Is Editable On Pay And Allocate Dialog When Using ACH-On File Method
It was internally identified that the date on the Sent Invoices>Pay & Allocate dialog could be changed using the ACH-On File/ Manual Entry method. This has been fixed, and the Date field greys out and becomes inactive.
- Bug – In Some Cases, New Reports Not Loading And Giving Error Related To “Too Many Concurrent Users…”
It was internally Reported that sometimes the New Reports did not open and gave an error related to “Too many Concurrent Users in the Organization.” This has been fixed by further optimizing the report’s loading process.
- Bug – Timeout Error On The Financial And Staff Dashboards For Firms With Large Volumes Of Data
It was internally reported that firms with large volumes of data were randomly giving Gateway Time-out errors on the Financial and the Staff Dashboard. This has been fixed, and the Dashboards load without any errors.
- Bug – Values Are Not Sorted Alphabetically In Client And Matter Drop Downs
During internal testing, it was revealed that the values in the dropdowns for Clients and Matters were not sorted alphabetically. This has been fixed to show Clients and Matters listed alphabetically. Additionally, the “All” option is selected by default.
- Bug – On The Financial Dashboard’s Top Client Chart, The Billed View Does Not Show The Fixed Time And Expense Invoice Amount
It was internally reported that when using the “Fixed Fee – Time and Expense” billing arrangement and selecting the Billed drop-down, the amount was not showing up on the Financial Dashboard’s Top Client chart. This has been fixed.
- Bug – Error On Staff Dashboard’s Target vs. Actual Chart When Repositioning The Chart
Internally Reported that after repositioning the Staff Dashboard’s Target vs. Actual chart and clicking on its Amount tab or the Rate tab, the Dashboard would give an error. This has been fixed.
