TimeSolv Version 20220129 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

#1: Enhancement: Recurrence Interval in Recurring Expense Import/Export

Firm admins can now view and specify the recurrence interval when importing or exporting recurring expenses so that they can create expenses that recur every 5 days or every quarter or every 6 months.

#2: Enhancement: Approval level on the Approve Time Screen Shown

The Approve Time screen now shows the current approval level for a Time Entry so that when users are approving entries for Matters/Timekeepers having multiple approval levels, they are able to see the level increase on every approval. 

#3: Enhancement: Increased Visibility of TimeSolvPay

The TimeSolvPay screen is now directly accessible from the top-level menu navigation (next to Payments) so as to increase its visibility to firms. 

#4: Enhancement: Firm Client Dashboard - Matters Added in the Current and Past Year

Firm admins can now see the number of Matters that have been added in the current vs past year so that they can track the performance of sales and marketing.

#5: Enhancement: Line Item Allocation UI Improvements

Numerous UI improvements have been made to the Line Item Allocation screen. 

#6: Bug Fix: Invoices - Download - PDF - Single File not Generating

A customer reported that they could not generate and download a PDF for their invoices in a batch. This has been fixed.

#7: Bug Fix: Client & Matters - Getting Internal Error when Inactivating a Client

A customer was trying to make a Client inactive, but the system displayed an Internal Error screen. Upon returning to the Clients/Matter screen with 'Active' selected as the filter, the Client showed as Inactive but the Matters were still active. This has been fixed.

#8: Bug Fix: Invoice - 'Previous Invoice Balance' Subtotal not Showing the Correct Outstanding Balance

A customer reported that the 'Previous Invoice Balance' subtotal on the invoice was only showing the balance of the prior invoice and not of the total outstanding amount, i.e. balance of all prior invoices. This has been fixed.

#9: Bug Fix: Internal Error When Doing Line Item Allocation

When attempting to utilize the new line item allocation, a customer reported they received an Internal Error. This has been fixed.

#10: Bug Fix: Firm Bar Chart on Staff Tab in Dashboards Showed Exception when User Clicked on Amount

It was found that if a user type is a Support and they view the Firm bar chart under 'Dashboards', an exception showed up when the user clicked on the Amount button. The exception read: "There was a problem creating the chart. Click here to view details." But when clicking to view details another message popped up: "There was an error while processing your request." This has been fixed.

#11: Bug Fix: Import - Time and Expense Entries - No Email are Being Received

Multiple customers reported that they were not receiving emails from TimeSolv when importing Time Entries, meaning users were left unsure if all the entries were imported successfully and which failed, if any. This has been fixed.
