TimeSolv Version 20201230 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes
Release Date: December 30, 2020
#1: New Enhancement: Show Previous Balance on CSV Version of Trust Banking Report
CSV and PDF versions of the Trust Banking report are now consistent in terms of the information that is being displayed so that TimeSolv users do not have to revert to the PDF version of the report to view the missing information.
#2: New Enhancement: Override Law Firm Matter ID on LEDES Invoice
For firms that send out a high volume of LEDES invoices, we have added the ability to override the law firm Matter ID so that the consolidated LEDES file references the Matter ID expected by the insurance carrier’s system.
#3: New Enhancement: Time Entry Screen UX Improvements
We have enhanced the user experience of the Time Entry screen to be improved so as to facilitate the quick entry of Time. For example, when a user clicks ‘Save and New’ or ‘Save and Duplicate’, the focus automatically now shifts to the first field of the Time Entry form so that the user can start entering their Time right away.
#4: New Enhancement: Expense Entry screen UX improvements
We have enhanced the user experience of the Expense Entry screen to be improved so as to facilitate the quick entry of Expenses. For example, when a user clicks ‘Save and New’ or ‘Save and Duplicate’, the focus automatically now shifts to the first field of the Expense Entry form so that the user can start entering their Expense right away.
#5: New Enhancement: Create Statements by Matter
TimeSolv can now produce a statement by Matter instead of Client-only, as this includes all Matter. This is useful for customers that are submitting to insurance adjusters where they want one Matter only.
#6: New Enhancement: Improve the way ‘Additional Email’ is Added to Sent Invoices
Previously, users could define the Main and Optional Invoice contact, and if both existed under a Matter only the Main Contact received the email. In order to add more people to receive an email, the additional email field needed to be used. There is now an option to multi-select existing contacts from a pop-up as an Additional Email Address on the Client, Matter, and Invoice>Invoice Settings tab.
#7: New Enhancement: Save and Duplicate Option in Outlook Add-in
We have added a ‘Save & Duplicate’ to the Outlook add-in so that Time Entry information is saved as per the previous entry. The ‘Save & Duplicate’ button will inherit the settings under Time Settings for ‘Set Time Entry Description’ and ‘Task Code Description’ only.
#8: New Enhancement: Add Ability in Tabs3 DEP to Convert Tabs3-2020 Data
Invoice Number for Invoice which has been Voided to Draft should not appear on the report. This has been fixed.
#9: Bug Fix: Client Portal – WIP Information is Still Shown Even When Firm has set to Show Billed Entries Only
When setting Clients>Settings>Client Portal>Time/Expense Visibility to ‘Billed Entries Only’ the portal was still displaying the totals for WIP in Hours and Amount. This has been fixed.
#10: Bug Fix: Place all Options for Report Output Format in the Matter Import Template
When downloading the Matter import template file, there was no way for the user to know which email format was accepted. This has been fixed.
#11: Bug Fix: Invoices – Fixed Fee Draft NOT Showing Expense Tab Total
The ‘Total’ was missing from the Expense tab on Fixed Fee-Time Only invoice. This has been fixed.
#12: Bug Fix: Reports – Invoice Summary with Payment Allocations – Invoice Missing
A customer reported they ran the ‘Invoice Summary with Payment Allocations’ report but the generated report was missing some invoices from the report. This has been fixed.
