TimeSolv Version 20200219 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

Release Date: February 19, 2020

#1: Feature: Update ‘In Progress’ or ‘Closed’ Events in Calendar View

Users can now set the status of any calendar event as ‘In Progress’ or ‘Closed’, either under the Matter calendar or Main calendar by clicking to create a new calendar event or clicking on any existing event to update.

#2 Feature: UI Revamp to Draft Invoice Edit Screen

We have redesigned the Draft Invoice Edit screen to be more concise and the following invoice details are now shown under their most relevant tabs: Invoice Total, Invoice Date, Invoice Due Date, Grace Period, Interest Rate, Payment Terms, Is Split, Is Consolidated, Sent By, Created By, Created At, Updated By, Updated At.

#3: Feature: QB Desktop – Allow Users to Select to Sync Inactive Clients

Users can now select a ‘Sync Active Clients and Matters only’ option on the QuickBooks Desktop sync tool so that they only sync the active Client’s Matters.

#4: Bug Fixed: Removing Due Date From a Plan Task

Previously, when a user removed a due date from a Plan Task and updated, a ‘Plan Task saved successfully’ message was displayed, yet the due date would not have been updated. This has been fixed.

#5: Bug Fixed: Professionals With “View Only” Permission for Clients Should not be Allowed to Edit Originators from Matter

Previously when a user had their permissions set as ‘View Only’ for Clients, they were able to select a Timekeeper under Clients>Clients & Matters>[Matter]>Originator tab, and were able to set a rate for that newly selected Originator Timekeeper. We have removed this access for those users with ‘View Only’ access to Clients.
