TimeSolv has introduced a New Custom Invoices Report designed to enhance users’ ability to generate and review detailed invoice information for specific periods. This report provides a comprehensive view of invoicing details, allowing for improved tracking and analysis of billable hours and amounts.

Key Features

The New Custom Invoices Report includes the following fields:

• Client Name: The name of the client associated with the invoice.
• Custom Fields:
  • Company: Identifies the company linked to the invoice.
  • Business Units: Specifies the business units involved.
• Invoice Date: The date the invoice was issued.
• Timekeeper: The individual responsible for the recorded time entries.
• Task Code: The code associated with specific tasks performed.
• Hours: Total hours billed for the period.
• Rate: The hourly rate applied to the billed hours.
• Amount Billed: Total amount charged to the client.
• Blank Columns: Additional columns for future enhancements.

Filters

To facilitate targeted reporting, users can apply the following filters:

• Time Entry Date Range: Specify the date range for which the time entries are being reported.
• Client-Matter: Select specific clients and matters to narrow down the results.
• Transaction ID: Filter results by the unique transaction identifier.
• Timekeeper: Select individual timekeepers to view their specific entries.

Updated Field Labels

To improve clarity, two field labels have been updated:

• Header Business Unit is now renamed to Header BU.
• Object Business Unit is now renamed to Object BU.

These changes aim to simplify the terminology used in the report.

PDF Export Improvements

Recent updates have enhanced the PDF export functionality:

• The PDF export is now scrollable, allowing users to navigate through extensive data without losing context.
• The PDF format is non-printable, ensuring that the layout mirrors that of the Excel version of the report, providing a consistent user experience across formats.
