1. Enhancement – Displaying Client-Matter Payment Insights on the Payments Screen
On the Payments screen when the user selects the Client-Matter, a paper icon is displayed which provides Payment insights on outstanding Operating/Trust balances. The Invoice Balance amount shown in the popup is clickable and opens the Matter Details>Invoices screen in a new browser tab, which lists all the invoices for the Matter.
2. Enhancement – Ability to Search Matters Against a Client from the Client Details Screen
A Matter search control has been added on the Client Details>Matters tab. The text input field allows users to search through all the columns on the Matters listing screen, i.e., Matter Name, Responsible Timekeeper, and Consolidated Group.
3. Enhancement – Dashboard Permissions Enhanced Allowing Access to Individual Dashboards
On the Timekeeper>Permissions tab, Firm Admins can set up user access for the Timekeeper to select some or all the Dashboards. When the user selects the Dashboard’s “View Only” option, individual checkboxes appear to allow or restrict access to the Staff, Client and the Financial Dashboard.
4. Enhancement – The Top Section Is Frozen on the Time, Expense, Clients & Matters Screens
The Time, Expense, and Clients & Matters screens have been enhanced to display the results in a scrollable table, keeping the top portion of the screen always in view. This enhancement allows users to access the filters and options without having to scroll back up again. If the search results span several pages, the pagination is also always in view, making it easier to navigate to the other pages.
5. Enhancement – The Aging Intervals on the New Invoices and WIP Aging Report Have Been Made Consistent with Intervals on Financial Dashboard’s WIP Chart
On the New Invoices and WIP Aging Report, the aging intervals have been made consistent with the intervals shown on the Financial Dashboard’s WIP chart.
6. Enhancement – Ability to Open Several Different Reports in Multiple Tabs
The New Reports have been enhanced to allow several different reports to be opened in the same browser window using multiple tabs.
7. Enhancement – Improvements Introduced on the Dashboards
- Improved labels on Financial Dashboard, Charts and on the Time Analytics Dashboard.
- On the Time Analytics Dashboard, content inside the Add Chart popup made scrollable.
- On the Staff Dashboard’s Billable Hours chart, added the “h” for hours on the y-axis.
- Staff Dashboard’s Timekeeper dropdown enhanced to prevent auto-fill suggestions.
- On the Client Dashboard’s Active Matters without Active chart, drill-down view enhanced for consistency.
- On the Dashboard’s Data Tables, the following have been improved:
- The Inactive/Prospect badge displayed in its own column right after the Client, Matter, and Timekeeper name so that all badges line up.
- Inactive and Prospect label changed to I and P respectively. On mouse hover, the full text is displayed in tooltip i.e. ‘Inactive’ and ‘Prospect.’
- Replaced the background for Inactive labels from red to the theme’s grey background.
8. Bug – Unable to Sync NetDocuments with TimeSolv
Some customers reported that they were facing issues with NetDocuments and as a result, they are unable to sync Client/Matters. This has been resolved.
9. Bug – Timeout Error on Financial Dashboard When a Large Number Records Was Processed
One of the customers reported that when they selected all the Timekeepers and all Clients, after processing for some time the Financial Dashboard finally gave the timeout error. This has been fixed by optimizing queries and improving processes that handle large data.
10. Bug – On the Financial Dashboard’s Top Client Chart, the Dropdown Defaults to Billed Option
It was internally identified that when the Financial Dashboard’s Top Client chart loads, it shows Billed option as selected while the chart displays data for the Worked hours. This has been fixed.
11. Bug – The Clients and Matters Filters on the Financial Dashboard Were Not Working Properly
It was internally identified that the Clients and Matters filters on the Financial Dashboard were not displaying the number of selections correctly when selecting or unselecting Clients and Matters from the respective dropdowns. This has been fixed.
12. Bug – Incorrect Amount Shown on the Financial Dashboard’s Receipt Metric
It was internally identified that on the Financial Dashboard, the Receipts metric was not displaying the correct amount for the allocated and unallocated payments. Also, the AR metric was not showing the breakdown by billed Time and Expense entries. This has been fixed so that the Receipts show up as equal to the payments received within the selected date range, and the AR metric shows the breakdown by Time and Expense entries that have been billed.
13. Bug – The Financial and the Client Dashboard Screens Refresh Every Time a Client is Selected from the Dropdown
During internal testing, it was found that the Financial and the Client Dashboard screens refreshed every time a checkbox was checked or unchecked under the Client dropdown. This has been fixed, and the checkbox selection does not have any impact on the Dashboards unless the Apply button is clicked.
14. Bug – The New Expense Entries Report Does Not Show Expense Entries Without Timekeepers
It was internally identified that when an Expense Entry was created without selecting any Timekeeper, it would only show up on the New Expense Entries report when “Include Inactive” checkbox was checked. This has been fixed and now checking or unchecking Include Inactive does not impact Expense Entries without Timekeepers.
