TimeSolv Version 3.38 Feature Updates & Bug Fixes

Release Date: September 28, 2019

#1: Feature: Create a time entry from the Office 365 calendar

Users can create a Time Entry in TimeSolv when viewing a calendar event in Outlook 365 using the TimeSolv Add-in.

#2 Bug fixed: Non-billable matter does not get deactivated even if the client is marked inactive

Previously, if a Matter is not marked as ‘Billable’ and the client is deactivated, the non-billable Matter still remained active. Now, when a client is made inactive, any non-billable Matters (if any) gets inactivated as well.

#3: Bug fixed: Space at the end of Plan Task receives an error message ‘Invalid Plan Task To-Do’

Previously when creating a new Plan Task, if a space was put at the end of it and the user tried to enter time from the Matter Plan screen, an error message appeared. This issue has been fixed.

#4: Feature: Ability to capture a Billing Code for each Matter

A Billing Code can now be assigned to each matter so that it can be used when generating the Time Entries report in CSV format.

#5: Feature: Draft Invoice Adjustments and Discounts do NOT reflect in Realization per Invoice

Previously, adjustments and discounts on the Totals tab of draft invoices did not reflect on reports. Reports now reflect discounts and adjustments such as write-downs or write-offs.

#6: Feature: Client/Matter inactive date is auto-populated

Users previously could not identify when a Client/Matter was made inactive, or if imported Clients/Matters were inactive and when they had been made inactive. Users can now know when Clients/Matter were made inactive as TimeSolv now shows a pre-populated Inactive date. When running a Client/Matter report, it will display the inactive date for the Matter, and the Client detail will show inactivate date as well as the start date.
